Management Team  Chris Schopfer, CEO
Chris joined IMT in 2002. He formerly served 13 years with GE, including assignments as VP & manager of energy structured finance; materials sales & marketing; and Six Sigma. He was also previously a major in the Corps of Engineers and Army Special Operations. Chris holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, a BS degree (nuclear engineering) from the US Military Academy (West Point), and is a graduate of the US Army Command & General Staff College.  Bob Beck, President
Bob has been with IMT since 1997, and President since 2008. He has over 35 years' experience in the heat treating industry, including product and process development, sales, and quality control. He served as a metallurgical engineer at an industrial gas supplier, a furnace manufacturer and two heat treaters. He holds a BS (metallurgical engineering) from Drexel University in Philadelphia.  Rich Cooper, Plant Manager
A 28-year IMT employee, Rich has been plant manager at IMT since 1992. He previously served as shop foreman, and has served in every position in the shop. He has extensive training the heat treating profession.  Doug Rogers, Quality Control Manager & President Emeritus
Doug was IMT President from 1992 to 1996. He previously served as heat treating in-line supervisor with Bendix Aerospace Fluid Power Division, overseeing multiple metallurgical processes, including welding, micro-brazing, blast plating, bur bending, tumbling, and forging. Doug studied metallurgy at Temple University. |
